Strategy and identity

Through workshops, we established the brand’s essence and its core values. Together with the business’s mission and vision, these formed the brand platform that we continued to build upon.

Key requirements for the brand identity:

  • Solid, science-based, pragmatic feel;
  • Showing empathy for personal lifestyles;
  • Signifying elevation of business performance

This strategic foundation matched well with robust and quality-focused impressions that Swiss brands often leave behind.

Matching Zürich’s city emblem, the identity colours needed to use black, white, and blue. In addition to the brand name, these were needed for the sense of quality that locals are looking for. Clean typography and local photography choices took this further to establish a solid Swiss presence.

Brand website

The first touchpoint where the new identity was brought to live, was the company website. The goal here was to reach and inspire more Zürich-based professionals.

Mixing solid Swiss business with a sense of movement as seen in fitness brands, the website informs but also motivates to take your health more seriously. By outlining the way Nutrition Zurich can help, potential clients come to understand that a healthy lifestyle doesn’t need to require a lot of time and effort.

The finished website establishes a sound presence for the brand, both for people to visit and be convinced to sign up, as well as for businesses to be interested in partnerships.

Summary and feedback

Although an important part of the visual identity was pretty much set in stone, there was still opportunity to be creative with the other identity elements. After all, the identity as a whole fully agreed with the set out strategy.

Bringing together traits like patience and empathy with high levels of science-based intelligence and understanding, Nutrition Zurich is truly ready to be the health coach so many professionals need to reach higher.

Nutrition Zurich’s feedback on the new brand was—and continues to be—overwhelmingly positive. Especially praised are the sense of brand clarity and the fitting identity for the business’s audience.
